ISE Individual Homestay Program
 

 
Visit Australia and stay with a Host Family.  This is an opportunity for overseas visitors to experience life with a typical "Aussie" family and learn about our culture, while enjoying free time to visit the many exciting places Australia has to offer.
Our Host Families are carefully selected for their care and consideration of others, enthusiasm and interest in gaining a wider understanding of other cultures.  We endeavour to place the applicant with a Host Family who has similar interests, likes and dislikes.
If requested on the application form, we will meet the applicant at the airport for transfer to the Host Family home, and accompany the applicant to the airport for their departure.  We maintain contact with the family and applicant during the Homestay Program to ensure the experience is rewarding.
 

ISE is available 24 hours a day 7 days a week for the duration of the stay, should any assistance be needed.

 

 

ISE Homestay With a Teacher Program
 

 
Visit Australia and stay with a teacher in their home.  This is an opportunity for overseas visitors to experience one-on-one English lessons with a teacher, while enjoying the cultural experience of staying in a typical "Aussie" home.
The applicant is placed with a host family, of which one member is a qualified teacher.  The teacher will then prepare lessons, which will meet an agreed amount of tuition time during the Homestay period.  Many people take advantage of this program to expand their knowledge of the English language, or as a refresher course.  Our standard program includes 15 hours of tuition each week, leaving plenty of free time to enjoy some of Australia's famous sights.
Our "ISE Homestay with a Teacher" host families are carefully selected for their care and consideration of others, enthusiasm and an interest in gaining a wider understanding of other cultures.  All teachers submit proof of their qualifications before being added to our register.  We endeavour to place the applicant with a host family who has similar interests, likes and dislikes.

ISE Voluntary School Work Experience Program
 

 
Visit Australia and gain Australian educational work experience.  This is an opportunity for overseas people studying or pursuing qualifications in the educational field to improve their skills & knowledge.  This program is especially designed to experience working at an Australian pre-school, primary school, junior or senior high school, learn how an Australian school is structured and become involved in their day-to-day activities, while enjoying the cultural experience of staying with a typical "Aussie" family.

 
We chose a placement that reflects the participant's future educational career, or enhances their current employment situation.  Each placement is arranged on its own merit and our policy is that the host school needs to be committed to our Program and willing to include an international visitor in their daily operations.  We only accept those schools that understand this policy.
